Hearings Begin Monday for BetOnSports CEO CaseDavid Carruthers, CEO of the online gambling site BETONSPORTS, was arrested July 16th at Dallas International Airport in Texas. He was arrested on charges of racketeering, conspiracy and fraud. He was arrested while waiting on a connecting flight traveling to Costa Rica, where the BETONSPORTS headquarters is located. The Justice Department has been involved in the investigation since the offset, resulting in the court-ordered suspension of operations and arrest of the British online gaming companies CEO. The BetOnSports case has drawn much media attention because it is one of the largest online gaming companies that the government has taken an active legal steps against.
